CENTRAL WEST WOMEN\'S DOMESTIC
VIOLENCE ADVOCACY SERVICE
Applications are invited by Central Tablelands Housing Association (CTHA) for the position of Manager Central West Women\'s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (CW-WDVCAS) based in Orange. CW-WDVCAS is funded by Legal Aid NSW to provide information, assistance and court advocacy services to women and children experiencing domestic violence in Orange, Parkes, Forbes and Cowra. The Manager will be responsible for implementing and supporting the brokerage service which will be provided by the Family Support Services in each of the areas.
Being a woman is a genuine occupational qualification for WDVCAS work and WDVCAP has been formally exempted under s.31 of the Anti-Discrimination Act 1977 for this purpose.
