Operations Manager of Children and Families

My client located in the Hunter New England region is seeking someone with a blend of experience, someone who has demonstrated clinical based children and families experience and demonstrated community program management and leadership.
You will manage the development, direction and performance of particular programs in a geographical location.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- The position manages the development, direction and performance of particular community programs in a geographical location
- Ensuring the delivery of quality community programs (working with vulnerable children and their families
- Drive outcomes focused, strengths based practice
- Take responsibility for on-site management of facilities
- Build networks and external relationships
- Develop and pursue funding opportunities for local programs/projects
- Assist with the implementation and operations of new programs and projects
Essential Criteria:
- Degree or Masters in Social Work, Health, Psychology or directly related
- Must have experience working with children and families. Minimum 2+ years
- Demonstrated management or team leadership experience. A collaborative leadership ability and style
- Program management - excellent understanding of the government's community service delivery
