Reporting directly to General Manager you will be accountable for the strategic planning of HSE function for 500+ person site.
The site is in a bit of disarray at the moment...
As a result, you will be responsible for the conceptual reshaping of existing HSE systems including development of the business HSE Management systems. Coordinate implementation of systems and oversee the operation of the HSE function to ensure the site is brought back above standards.

As Manager you will have at least 10 direct reports (quite large for the size of operation). Alongside your Health and Safety responsibilities you will be responsible for the Environmental Team and Sustainable Development.

The ideal applicant will have 6 years experience in a MINING context along with a tertiary qualification in Health and Safety, at minimum an Advanced Diploma OHS.
